Margaret Jacobs, Chair of the WEA Women's Commission, represented the Commission at Esther Korea, a global prayer gathering of over 2000 women from aroung the world, who met at the Prayer Mountain in Soeul, Korea, from August 21 to 24. They gathered to fast and pray, according to Matthew 17:20. The stated purpose was to pray, inspire,unite, and equip 'Esthers' for today!

Margaret reports, "It was for such a time that we met to repent of sins, and to fast in the midst of various national and world crises. Even in the darkness and hopelessness, with seemingly no exit ahead of us, our fasting and prayer can make a differece and bring new opportunities for the future."

"Esther 2006 was convened to awaken our sense of the 'Christian community' at national and global levels, and to bring about spiritual and moral revival and renewal, not only in Korea, but in every nation on this globe."
