The Lord has been opening some remarkable doors for Kingdom influence:
- We have been invited to participate in peace talks between the Colombian Government and the National Liberation Army
- Through involvement with the UN Human Rights Council we have had the opportunity to meet privately with many diplomats to discuss the persecution of Christians
- We were given the opportunity to speak at the Rally to Stop Genocide recently held in Washington DC, to draw attention and a response to the atrocities occurring in Darfur, Sudan
We are unable to write about some opportunities due to security issues for Christians, except to tell you doors are opening at the highest levels in some countries which have been resistant, even hostile to the Christian Gospel. These are just a few of the opportunities recently before us!
Our goal in traveling to these cities in North America this October is to share some of these insights with the body of Christ. We want to give opportunity for local Christians to hear these stories, stories they will not be able to hear anywhere else. Insights and confidential updates on issues of peace-making, advocacy, religious freedom and human rights. We want the body of Christ to see the incredible doors that are opening and we want to help them understand how they can respond to these opportunities of global influence. |
