Pray for the Muslim World Friday, April 5, 2024
Ramadan this year falls between March 10 and April 9. During this time Muslims around the world will be asking God to reveal himself to them; many Christians devote themselves to prayer and fasting for their Muslim neighbours and friends during this time. The World Evangelical Alliance encourages churches to pray for Muslims during the month of Ramadan.

Join thousands of believers from many churches and Christian ministries around the globe, as we come together online for a 24-hour prayer meeting covering key cities and regions of the Muslim world during the Night of Power. This will be an opportunity to pray together, exalting Jesus Christ as King throughout the Muslim world, asking the Lord of the Harvest to send forth laborers to every unreached people group in these cities and nations!

The World Evangelical Alliance partners with International Prayer Connect in calling churches to pray for 110 of the most strategic unreached cities of the world. Each of these cities acts as a gateway to numerous Unreached People Groups (UPGs). We encourage churches to pray for these cities, and hope that many churches will even adopt a UPG. Prayer walks, virtual prayer walks and other focused intercession are encouraged!

About WEA PRAY!

The WEA desires to see churches around the world mobilized to pray. Prayer is simply conversation with God. Through prayer we draw near to God, and our faith, trust and obedience are deepened. We are called to intercede regularly in prayer for one another, for the persecuted church, and for the lost.

WEA Pray! is run out of the Office of the Secretary-General (OSG) of the World Evangelical Alliance. We recognize that there are more than 5,000 existing Christian prayer networks, organisations, and Houses of Prayer, many of them affiliated with WEA Regional and National Alliances. It is not our intention to start a new prayer initiative, but rather to point global churches to select prayer initiatives in order to catalyze and mobilize extraordinary world-changing prayer.
